Bloomable's medicinal mushroom powders are all officially approved and licensed by Health Canada! As we roll out our new packaging, you will see that each medicinal mushroom pouch has a "NPN". A Natural Product Number (NPN) is an 8-digit number assigned by Health Canada to all natural health products (NHPs) that have been authorized for sale in Canada. An NHP is defined as a substance or combination of substances that are used in the prevention or treatment of illness or disease, and that are made from natural sources such as plants, animals, and minerals.
In order to obtain an NPN, a natural health product must undergo a review process by Health Canada to ensure that it is safe, effective, and of high quality. The NPN serves as a means of identifying the product and its authorized uses, and helps to ensure that Canadians have access to safe and effective natural health products. Consumers can look for the NPN on the label of natural health products to ensure that they have been authorized for sale by Health Canada.
Although an extensive and intense process in receiving NPN's for our medicinal mushroom powders, it is another seal of approval of the high calibre that we have for our products. Our mission has always been to provide the highest quality mushroom powders.
